Instead of using soul to heal like in Hollow Knight, Hornet will use silk in Silksong. Furthermore, while it is somewhat similar to Hollow Knight, Silksong’s fast travel seems rather unique- the Bell Beast. Hornet can craft weapons and tools, with the game also replacing the Geo currency with Rosary Beads. These quests, as it stands, are broken down in Hunt, Gather, Wayfinder, and Grand Hunt quest lines. There’s also a collection of NPCs, which will give Hornet quests. There are several Hollow Knight: Silksong bosses already confirmed, ranging from Lace to Steel Assassin Sharpe and more. Gameplay will be largely similar, with plans for over 165 different enemies. A few of the smaller areas of Hollow Knight: Silksong’s Pharloom have also been confirmed and detailed. A few details about Pharloom are known even, such as it having a shining citadel, being ruled by “Silk and Song,” being based around faith and pilgrimage, and having a gilded pin as part of its traditional weaponry. Hornet, captured and taken to Pharloom, must climb to the very top of this kingdom to discover the mystery of her being brought here. Originally a DLC for Hollow Knight, Silksong became so massive that it was only right it becomes its own game. ![]()
